Split Purpose Cabins

Split purpose cabins are the height of space efficiency. For a relatively small footprint they contain a mass of equipment. There are a few variants on the design, but the most popular options are control cabin with a workshop at one end or the "ROV in a box" which is a control cabin one end with a built in launch system & winch.

These containers are ideal as Remote operated vehicles (ROV) control cabins, ROV workshops or compact launch & recovery systems (LARS).

Above: ROV control cabin with integral launch system comprising of pneumatic umbilical winch with extending out reach arm. The container doors hinge back out of the way. The ROV stows in front of the winch. Purpose built cable stowage and equipment racking giving less room for movement in transit.

Above: ROV control cabin with integral workshop & stores area. The workshop is ideal for maintenance and storage of spares and tools. it is a non pressurised area. Full access is provided by double container doors which hinge back out of the way. The ROV can also be stowed in for transit.
