There's No Business Like Show Business!

Well thank you to all of you who came to see us at Oceanology.  We had a great time at the show catching up with friends, clients and lots of fascinating visitors.

Off all our product range there was the most interest in our Launch & Recovery Systems, of which we were showing some high quality 3D animations running on the plasma screen. Thanks to Dave Blood for the hours of hard work that went into those, the feedback from our visitors was very positive indeed.

We had a virtual unveiling of our two latest LARS at the show; the Mk4 Slewing Crane LARS & the Mk5 Work Class LARS.  Further information and product data plates are available on the LARS page.

As you can see from the photo, we had a Great British Engineering theme going on too.  The sofa was wonderful for resting the tired feet of the TSS team and clients alike.

On the right hand side you can see our resident weather reporter Dave Blood!

Shiny New Offices.

The TSS office based team are finally into the new offices!  The shop floor team had their new workshop & stores finished end of last year due to create more room for expansion and more new builds.   This area has been invaluable for hydraulic fitting, electronics and finishing off of the LARS and winches.

The offices are more organised with more spacious working space for the team.    It also creates room for new team members, such as recently appointed Production Manager Charles Evans, who is whipping up a storm of activity at TSS!  Posted 12/05/2009

The shiny new Tech Safe offices

A Work Force to be Reckoned With!!

Our team is continuing to expand and we have a wide selection of skilled people on board.

Teamwork, professionalism and pride in what we do are paramount to out continued success and growth.

We are constantly working to create a streamlined company, from the shop floor through the offices and out to our Clients.

Currently we are installing an MRP system which should create a better control of stock, smoother ordering process, production scheduling and operational performance monitoring to name but a few attributes.

We also hope to implement a Health & Safety Management software programme to make the safety & environmental side simpler to follow and safer for all persons, including visitors to our site.

Our ultimate goal is to meet or exceed our client’s expectations, at all levels in our services, products and professional conduct.    Posted 25/03/2009

Tech Safe Empire image

Building an Empire!

The building is underway at Tech Safe.  We are getting closer towards a new workshop hanger and offices at the Great Yarmouth site.  The new buildings will more than double indoor work space and provide a new stores area.  The new workshop will give us more room to fit in extra builds in line with the current demand.

The additional space will make Tech Safe more time efficient and help with deadlines and achieve tighter lead-times.  Posted 11/07/2008

Crane Lars - Our Latest Design

A new version of our crane LARS is something that we have been working on for some time.  We created this one specifically for a client who wanted to launch a free swimming ROV from a space efficient and transportable system.  The design is compact, simple yet effective to open out & operate and looks the part.  For images & more information please view the crane LARS page Posted 19/06/2008
