The MK2 is suitable for the entire vehicle range from
Saab Seaeye and Sub Atlantic, although the Mk5 is built specifically for the
Jaguar & Comanche.
It is a compact design with an integrated skid
mounted A-frame, winch and powerpack. The ROV and TMS are stowable
within the LARS for security and transportation. For additional
security and longevity of the LARS and related equipment, bespoke tarpaulins
are available as an optional extra.
No crane is required for erecting the A-frame to
reduce mobilisation time and cost. There are options of snubber
rotators and locklatch mechanisms for safer deployment.
Classification options of Safe Area or Zone II and ATEX.
A-frame LARS has the width of a standard ISO shipping container, saving
costs on transportation. The overall dimensions ensure that there are
no height issues that require planned routes to avoid bridges and no need to
organise an escort vehicle.
